Actually this bank thing did happen overnight and caught a lot of people in the startup industry off guard. But we bank somewhere else. We did a bit of defensive planning over the weekend to make sure that we were prepared for all scenarios, but for the most part we weren’t effected.

If someone lost page views or money, then that’s a result of those page views and money going to someone else. Of course every writer wants their payouts to go up and to the right. But every subscriber wants the most value for their subscription dollar and it’s clear that our changes have done a lot to improve that value.
