There are too many promises of instant results in self improvement. People are in a hurry and sales pitches are offering what people want. It’s not helpful. And doesn’t even make sense to me.

You’re going to work on self improvement for a week and then just give up on yourself for the rest of your life? That. Sounds. Lame.

So, I’m attracted to life long practices and that’s why I like the Codex Vitae exercise. It’s a “book of wisdom” that you imagine collecting and revising throughout your life so that you could pass it…
