What you are describing seems reasonable to me. Virality isn't predictable and if you post the same article to LI, Flipboard, Facebook, Reddit, make a TikTok short of it, record it as a YouTube video, etc, you are not going to get the same result on each platform. On top of that, we've announced and are using a structurally different recommendation system than any of those platforms.
