Could I challenge you? Do you think this piece you wrote should be promoted widely across medium even though you don't seem to have evaluated any of my source quotes on this topic?

To me this is the heart of what we are talking about. Presumably when you wrote reviews of the show Dark (loved that show), you had at least watched the show.

But then here, you are speculating about where Medium is going around expertise without seeming to have read any of my quotes. I actually am quite specific about what I mean when I talk about this. So to my editors eye, this post is uninformed and shouldn't be promoted by our recommendation system.

That doesn't mean it shouldn't be read or that you are wrong for having written it. It just means I don't think it meets any reasonable standard for basic expertise. (This will make more sense if you do find any of my quotes)

And given that our job with the subscription is to provide the best ideas and best information to people, this is the type of article that we'd like to filter out of our recommendation systems.

I didn't read your Dark reviews but they sound like better candidates to be distributed.
