I'll start with my general caveat which is that we bristle at being labeled as political. We have values and we enforce them. It's not our fault that various political parties and movements around the world align themselves more or less closely to those values. That's on them.

With that out of the way, yes, I whole heartedly embrace Medium as a site for conservative thinking and discourse.

Unfortunately, what you describe sells the conservative movement short as a movement that has to be lazy and uninformed. That would be a disservice to the movement and to the virtue of discourse.

As a concrete example, it should take you less than two minutes to correct yourself about whether there are only two genders.

Either you are misusing the word gender to mean biological sex or you are misstating your own position.

If you mean sex, then the first result for "are their only two sexes" is this Scientific American article. Read it or read the What is a woman article that one of the popular science writers on Medium just posted. Biological sex is complicated and it's an interesting topic to read about and one that I don't experience as political at all. I doubt you will either.

If you mean gender as a social construct, then you are misstating your own opinion because you wouldn't even be speaking up unless you we aware that segments of society have constructed more than two genders. If so, say what you actually mean.
