I just want to acknowledge that I read this but that it didn't prompt much of anything that I thought could be helpful. What you seem to be talking about is a personal decision about how you spend your time. The internet is large, we hope that much of your time can be spent here. But we also don't aim to be all things to all people. As a result we have a lot of respect for the agency you have.

The only thing that maybe I could comment on is the idea of what you said about consistent day to day writing. Medium is not built for people to grind out a living through the content treadmill. Maybe it works for some people. But it's absolutely not our goal, both because the best stories are coming from people who aren't on that treadmill and also because the treadmill is an awful way to live.
