I still think you’d be better off writing less and putting more into each piece regardless of where you write. But if that doesn’t sound like good advice to you, don’t take it. As for Medium, the bar for making money went up and so far that has been very good for every measure of reader sentiment. We had seen what would happen already when we changed distribution. We are stewards of reader’s money after all. I think sometimes people forget that the writers who built Medium were hobbyists and enthusiasts writing for free. So in a sense paying for volume is also a disservice to them.
