Just in case any of my coworkers see this, our theory is that we should be doing the opposite form of hard work.

Work hard at working smarter. When we think deeply, dig deep into analysis, do revisions, go the last mile, then we end up doing work that matters.

Both have the same goal which is to maximize the amount of work we get done that matters. But when people just work all the time they miss the opportunities to work smart.
