Martin, I'm sorry to hear that. It's certainly not a money grab though if the money is going to other authors. Given how much you like his writing, I wouldn't be surprised if it's actually the same share of your earnings going to him (I'm just basing that on what you are saying here). And as I've said to him and in other places, these changes are very much aligned with what our readers want in aggregate. Doesn't mean it'll be perfect for everyone, but it's definitely directionally good for the Medium subscription. Also, I'm not making an argument above. I'm giving an explanation and offering a recommendation.
