Nice post. I think it’s age appropriate. Most people coming out of college don’t have a clear life mission so they substitute in “get a job.”

I think what’s going on is very Maslow’s Hierarchy. It’s hard to imagine a greater purpose if you aren’t first comfortable that the world values you.

I certainly was in this camp. I needed to both feel like I could have a job and be technically competent before it ever occurred to me to look for greater meaning.

Your post hits that dynamic with great, actionable advice. Nice!
