One of our coaches clued me in that changing “How to” to “This is how to” often boosts your score on the headline analyzer by ten points. In general, higher scoring headlines leads to more readers.

Self-help has a lot of marketing/integrity challenges like the ones you identify. If no one clicks through then nobody reads and then nobody changes their lives for the better.

I’m thinking about my own knowledge of the data. I’d write headlines like:

Track tasks instead of todos for a 10% chance at getting 30% more done.

Is that good headline?
