Predictable is unnatural. Media is a hits business and if the views are predictable then that means something is wrong or fake.

As for rewards, yeah, paying more for external views would be a good incentive that would grow the pie for everyone. We did run an experiment and didn't like the results. We'll come at it from different ways then. But I hate to see you using phrases like "taken advantage of" because when we pay you for internal views it's because someone else's story got external views at some point in the future so that we have subscribers. Your external views right now are essentially paying it forward to some other author.
