Writing is a skill. And writing for public consumption is also a skill. The only way to get that skill is through practice.

The underlying premise behind Better Humans is that people can become good at anything with practice. Even people who the public call prodigies got there through practice (which we probably didn't have a chance to see).

So, our expectation the good writers that we are looking for will be able to show the results of their prior practice.
