We don't think we need to do anything other than transparency about what stories have been featured. That will happen soon.
At that point, we trust the community has agency and that editors can feature their own stories as often as they want as long as they are prepared to justify that to readers, writers, other editors, and the pub owner.
Following a pub needs to mean something. It has to have consequences, normally good ones. But if a reader doesn't like what is featured to them then they should unfollow.
Similarly for every other combination of roles within a pub. Don't write for the pub, don't edit for the pub, remove the editor, etc.
