We take our responsibility to be fair here very seriously. That means being fair to the impacted writer. But also it's often the case that writers who are removed from the partner program are behaving in ways that siphon money away from other writers. That's unfair to those writers. It's also unfair to the members who expect us to distribute their membership dollars in a way that maximally incentivizes more writing that they want to read.
What ends up being hard from a communication standpoint is that we don't feel comfortable talking about disputes in public to third parties. For the cases that you are mentioning, I'm nearly certain that we've had direct conversation with them.
So that's why I highlighted your phrase here "no reason that we know of."
