Yeah, we should and would except for all the caveats.

#1. A person comes and starts a blog here because it's a nice free publishing tool. Who are we to tell them what they can publish on their own blog? With the exception of spam and hate speech, we generally lean toward limiting distribution rather than what a person can publish.

#2. The tools for recognizing AI generated text are bad. Bad. Bad. We really need humans. The Medium team can do that at the Boost level which means there is a smaller incentive. We could be more aggressive with the partner program if we had to.

Those are the main caveats. But otherwise, I agree. Human stories rule. AI stories drool.
